Subway Athlone

Food was decent, but the service really let it down. The staff member who served me came across as quite annoyed and seemed more focused on getting me out the door quickly than providing a good experience.

I had to ask for extra salad as the portion was very minimal.

The meatballs were tasty, but served extremely hot to the point it took away from enjoying them.

Overall, while the food was good, the atmosphere wasn’t welcoming unfortunately, I wouldn’t return.

Only visiting Athlone today.

Never again is what I am saying for this subway. I have never met people as rude as I encountered such a mix up with a simple sandwich. I asked for the beef cheese sub, the girl had such a bad attitude, it was unreal how rude she was, she did not want to be there, not one please. I asked for plain cheese, I got none! I asked for peppers and got lettuce, I asked for tomatoes and pickles. I was not asked if I wanted any sauce, which I did, my sub was then given to the check out girl to wrap. A man came behind the counter then and just added to the whole bad feeling from this subway. I was throw some napkins even though I had politely asked for them. I was so dissapointed in the service and would never visit this store again.
